Perry, MIMs Reed is a Dakota dealer, and I think he had a couple of them at his booth at the DSC show. He has sold some to customers, I'm sure, and probably give you a contact number for them. There is one of those sitting in the rack at First Stop, the gun shop in Rapid City, SD. It has the barrel and forearm assemblies for 7mm Dakota and .404 Dakota, and it was priced in the 8K to 9K dollars bracket, used, IIRC.. For that price one also gets more than a cardboard box to pack it in, hopefully. That is almost two rifles for about 4K each. I have also been to the Dakota Arms "factory" in Sturgis, SD to fondle several of these combos. They are pretty, just not my thing. I would accept one as a gift however. Make mine .300 Dakota and .404 Dakota, please. If I have to pay for it myself, I'll just wait until they make it in a combo of .375 Lapua and .404 Lapua.

I know a fellow with one in .338 Lapua Magnum and .416 Rigby. It is a very nice rig and I especially like his choice of calibers. Mike Wilderness is my cathedral, and hunting is my prayer.
