Can you buy from Ruger the express sights that they put on the hawkeye african, and the Boddington series No. 1? If not where can you get some like them?

Thanks!

You can buy the sights from Ruger. Sometimes you need a serial number and sometimes not. It depends on who answers the phone.

Sorry that I havn't replyed to this post. I had a local smith install a necg rear sight to the factory quarter rib on by #1. I havn't done much with it but it seems to fix the problem of the cheap folding rear sight. The best part is that the Leupold 1.5 x 5 in low mounts fits just on top. I will try to post pics, just to much work to do. I was hoping to shoot it first and file it in before I said anything. I also have questions my self on the best way to file the sight. What a shame that Ruger can't solve this problem for us. The Ruger #1 is a great rifle with two problems.
1: The saftey won't let cases eject.
2: The silly folding rear sight.

I am just trilled with by #1 and as soon as I can double check some of my results with it I will post them. I am just working alot.
