Just wondering where everyone is finding their .505 Gibbs brass?

So far, I've only found Bertram available at one retailer online. Grafs and Midway are both out of stock on Jamison right now. I'd gladly take Horneber or any other decent manufacturer that can be found at the moment (but will stoop to the Bertram if I have to!)

Check with www.huntingtons.com They told me they were expecting a shipment of Horneber .505 soon.

Also, I spoke with Jamison's about a couple of months ago and they were planning on a run of .505 brass in late April or May after some of their military contracts had been fulfilled.

Keep in touch with them and some of the distributors.

Thanks... www.custombrassandbullets.com is also expecting a Jamison shipment in 6 weeks or so... I'm still holding out hope that there is some decent brass in stock somewhere... would like to locate 20 pieces or so to just hold me over.

While I'm asking, anyone also have any good sources for bullets? While I haven't shot cast out of it yet, I'm really thinking of trying them from

Suggest that you watch the web page for Graf & Son for 505 Jamison Brass. This is the good stuff. Now the page says...

Thanks EP. That is the one supplier who has Bertram brass in stock. It's doesn't have a great reputation... that's what I'll buy if I can't find anything else, but would really prefer some Jamison or Horneber...

I am pretty sure A square also make 505 Gibbs brass. How do those of you who have tried all the brands available rate the brass from the various manufacturers.? (ie who's is best, second etc) Norma also make 505 Gibbs, but I am not sure if they sell unprimed brass, I think they only sell loaded ammo.
