... If I have time today, I'll put up a few pics... but a several years ago, I had a 44 mag Marlin Lever Carbine Converted to 50 A.E. ( my local builder & I thought it would be an "easy" conversion... turned out to be more work than we thought )

I'm setting up my loading bench this year, after a several year break, & when we designed the rifle, it was the intention, that the gun could shoot heavy cast bullets...

well I have a couple of molds for heavy .501 bullets, & plan on starting to load for it this winter ( the conversion turned a light handy carbine into a short handy BEAST with factory loads... anyone done a conversion like this, or ever load 50 A.E. for a longer barrel ??? BTW... the tube mag holds 11-12 rounds, depending on the OAL of the cartridge...

the enlarged loading gate, & the Cabelas Alaskan Guide series zero power scope...

the bore end of the barrel

over all... bottom rifle in this pic...

I thought somewhere on here was some data from my old Tromix 50 AE AR upper, although I can't seem to find it with the search function.

I think I've got some data stuck away here somewhere, but it was long enough ago the selection of .500" projectiles was pretty slim.
