I know whatcha mean, my 350 Rigby with 2.5x leupold only groups .6" at 100 yds, something must be wrong with it, I guess the 35's just dont' shoot, specially with a wood stock.

Okay, Fellas,
Here's the quick report.

We went to the Leprechaun Ranch, south of San Antonio. It's 700 acres of dense oak, hicory and OAKS... When it's green, you can't see 150 yards.

Mike (416 taylor on a mark x) Chadd,( 257 roberts on a pre81 BLR --Grand Slam Bullets) and Me, (376 steyr on a mexican mauser) My Wife came as well. Mike had to sit in a stand due to a BAD knee injury (getting surgery this coming week)

Results.... (by chronology)
friday -
Jeffe--- neck shot blackbuck doe at 120 steps.
-- near decapation, as it hit her knee first
Saturday
Chadd,Mike,Jeff... treerats all around

Mike - big fallow (416 made "plunk plunk" holes through the neck.
Chadd - 137# feral sow. Finally Chadd got an exit on 257s... with the grand slams.

We had a wonderful time... Saturday Chadd and I got to stalk for about 4 hours, chasing hogs and does.

I took my son and nephew over there two years ago and had a fun hunt. We shot feral hogs, a blast stalking around in that sandy soil looking for piggies in the brush piles. Hope you can make it to the AR shoot at ASC in June. I'll be posting details again in a week or so. Bob
