I was talking to one of my hunting partners from the coast. He has had his Searcy .416/.500 for about a month or so now.

He was delighted with the workmanship when it arrived and was shooting the recommended practice loads for a while.

He is now working with his full house loads and has reported that he can put the first shot in the bullseye and the second one is one inch to the left at 50 yards. Needless to say, he is a happy man. He leaves for Tanzania in August for a 21 day hunt that includes elephant.

I just wanted to pass this along as a note of interest for the Big Bore viewers.
