On a rifle that valuable 25 Brit pounds would be less than $50 U.S., wouldn't it?

I didn't think H&H had ever chambered a rifle for a (wildcat) cartridge that didn't have CIP specifications. Every rifle has to be 'proofed' before sale; without a CIP spec, how do establish proof? George

George, That was my first though on hearing of such a rifle through the grapevine. But H&H chambers for lots of SAAMI cartridges. I am sure they are not restricted to CIP. So, has the .585 Nyati been certified by SAAMI? I wonder if H&H would charge 25 pounds to answer whether they have ever made any .585 Nyati rifle? It should be very interesting to get a look at the H&H .585 Nyati.

This whole things seems like a lot of hot air; just more gun store talk. If it turns out to be true, I will eat my words. Until then I remain an unbeliever.

I don't that the .585 Nyati has been submitted to SAAMI. Call H&H and ask them if they would build you rifle so chambered. A long-distance call to the U.K. would cost a lot less than the 25 pound research fee. George
