I follow closely the posts about the makers of good bolt actions but have never seen anything about those who make the single stack action and magazine box for a DGR. Do they exist? Has anyone had one made?

Ed Plummer at AHR (www.hunting-rifles.com) makes one for the CZ550. Robgunbuilder can tell you more about it.

I had a Model 70 with a single stack 2 round mag for the 585 Nyati. It feed very slick and would accept even the widest meplat flat nose bullets without a hitch.

I have a Savage 425 Express, and it feeds from a single stack. My observations are that it feeds slick, but is a bitch to reload under stress because the bolt does not stop at the point where the rounds feed into the magazine. Kudude

I have one of AHR's single stack systems in my CZ 550 505 Gibbs. Two down and it works well. IIRC, it was designed by Robgunbuilder for Ed.
