I don't believe that it has a 'European' designation.

Conversion to metric measure would make it approximately a 10,44x66R. Big Grin

It's known as the .405 Winchester
Quite a few double rifles were made in Belgium and could be bought secondhand at good prices untill the round was obtainable again.
