.376 steyr cartridge diagram? Login/Join

Greetings,
I am new (novice) reloader, who does not have any money to spend. Can anyone tell me where I can find a cartridge diagram for the .376 steyr online? Can't afford new manuals right now, and mine are so old they don't have such a "modern" caliber. Also, you gunsmith guys, would this cartridge work through a standard military mauser action? (I realize the magazine box will need work.) Thanks for any advice.

You, Jim, and me, the .376 Steyr Trio! [Cool] [Cool] [Cool]

Instead of Jim or me, maybe you'll be the first to take a Cape buffalo with the .376 Steyr in your custom Mauser. After all, with your longer barrel, you're getting .375 H&H performance out of it.

Jeffe & Eric,

We will have to organize some sort of AR .376 Steyr buff hunt fantastic adventure!

I heard from a bullet maker that one hunter tried his .376 Steyr on a deceased buff carcas, but I didn't get any additional details.

So somebody will be first one of these days. [Wink]

Dear 376 trio!!
I am telling you, guys, I am just about settled on the 250 barnes X for it's diet when it goes to africa. If the would XLC that bullet, I think that 2700 would be on the menu, and, frankly, I don't think there's a critter than could stop it... and buff is ON THE MENU !!!
Or, heaven forbid, I when the ar buff raffle, my second cape might would be with the steyr..

I truely enjoy the round.. for a big bore, getting 375HH ballistics, it's rather pleasent to shoot.. and durn accurate.

Plains game with 250X.. yeah.. blomp!
oh, yeah, I got the mod 70 safety on it, and rust blued the safety.. looks NICE, feels great

cheers
jeffe
