Since some here insist on seeing MY gun collection here it is. I hope this will convince them, once and for all, I do in fact own some guns! left to right Daisy Champion 99, Remington 742 (30-06), RRA 50 Beowulf Here is a close up of my baby, my elk rifle 27 years old and still going strong. 1" groups at hundred yards with 180 grain Sierra Pro Hunters. So there you have it, my humble little collection. There is one big bore amongst them, albeit not up to the power levels of most of the rifles everyone talks about here. ASS_CLOWN

Scott, I hope you're alright and telling the truth for once didn't kill you. The truth is all any of us ask on here. None of us have to pretend we've "been there and done that" as you like to claim just to impress anyone. Who gives a shit? What's wrong with everyone just bringing a SMALL piece of the puzzle to the game? I'll be the first to admit that I have NOT been there and done that. At least about a lot of things. What I have "been there and done," anyone can take to the bank that I did it. Not that even this is worth all that much. Everyone's observations and experiences are different. I just don't feel the need to try to bullshit my way thru life. At the moment I don't even OWN what this forum calls a "Big Bore." At least not in a rifle. Furthermore, I don't have any plans to get one. The only one that even interests me is a 45/70 to play with cast bullets in. But I doubt this will ever happen. I only come here to this forum to see what crazy cartridges the factories and some of the guys here are creating. At my age I'm giving my rifles away to my son and nephews as quickly as I can pry my fingers off of them. Now if you'd really like to see the hostility evaporate, change your member name back to ScottS like it belongs and cut the crap. You'd be amazed how fast things could get friendly. This isn't rocket surgery...just human relations 101.

Rob, You mean the 75,000 PSI loaded 405? there could be two very good reasons it's not posted. the first being it was a myth the second being, well, the loads caught up with him jeffe

Robert, I do not own a 405 Winchester. The posted picture is MY complete gun collection. I did some software load development work for a guy from the local range. He had a 405 Winchester and wanted to stoke it up. The load data I posted was a combination of my analysis and his stated results. I do not know if his rifle has suffered ill from these loads or not, but I know he said he shot them. My posts on the subject started out to be informative, even though I was lying about owning the rifle, the information I posted was believed to be legit. The 500 AHR, I ordered one, but before I could get around to shooting it, financial reality struck and I had to let it go, cheap I might add. So I never even shot the darned thing. We aren't all millionaires you know. I guess that jealousy was at least partially to blame for all my asshole posts over the years. I have wanted a real nice big bore for a long time, and have been trying to save enough to buy (or now thinking real hard about trying to build one) for several years. Never seems to work out. So, as you may have gleaned from my other post, I have decided to straighten by lying ass out, ask the experts (why they would talk to me I don't know, but their opinions are TRULY APPRECIATED), and buy a off the shelf "cheapy" so I can finally own a big bore. Albeit, not the fancy best quality rifle of my dreams, not that that is important. Finally, I doubt I will ever see Africa or the Northwest with this cannon, but at least I can dream of such places when I am touching a few off at the local range. As I have previously indicated, I am TRULY sorry for being such an arse for so very long, and plan on being honest and truthful from now on. If you like the handle, I suppose I can continue to use it, heaven knows I deserve it, eh. ASS_CLOWN
