I have e-mailed them from the site again and will try and ring. I would really like to get 3 of there PH actions 1 for a .338 lapua magnum long range set up and two for future big bore projects but I will be able to only afford one I think.

I rang Scott Zimmerman from MRC and as they look like they will not be shipping until next year this time I have put an order in for three PH chrome moly actions. Your right there at to good a price to knock back.
So between the 1909 action and the three Montana PH actions my gun purchases are sealed for the next 24 months or so.
One of the PH actions will be turned into a .338 Lapua magnum for Long Range Pigging and I am unsure about the other two.

You made a good choice PC. The PH action was supposely bigger than most Mauser Magnum actions in existance so it will likely be in demand and you should not have any trouble selling them if you need to do so.

do you happen to know the bolt diamter of the PH actions, my cz's run about .702" according to my calipers.
I thought maybe payment was due straight away so at the minute 1 was the limit but if this time next year is the shipping date well I have time to plan for the purchase and adjust my spending in the meantime to accomadate the purchase.
Like you said if I find I do not need three I will be able to off-load them. They may actually grow in value as time goes by.

My recollection from past posts and talking with MRC is that the bolt diameter is 0.8" with a 4" magazine. My interpretation of their comments is that the Rigby bolt face models will hold four down. I'm hoping someone steps up to the plate and offers a drop box to handle 4 Gibbs cases.
4 gibbs down wow !! I jusy may do a second .585 Nyati but this time in African trim and on the PH action. I could go a gibbs but I like the Nyati round and I have dies and plenty of brass etc. My current .585 is in Alaskan trim Stainless & composite

Karl the thought of having those two spare big actions for some project is enjoyable.
Rodger Roths Child who frequents this forum has his .700 Rothschild express which I think operates with a gibbs rim and could be done on an enfield (I am not sure) this might work well with the big PH action.
