Looking at the new Kettner's catalog I noticed that Sauer have introduced a new version to their 202 rifle, with laminated stock and now chambered for 416 rem. This gun is of highest interest to me as it is darn good looking, Sauer action has a very good reputation here and ABOVE ALL is available in left-hand. Do any of you have experience with the Sauer action, and if so what do you think about it? Would a Lott conversion be possible on this gun? Any info much appreciated. Thanks, KB

Johan, the 202 has a detachable mag, that holds 3 or maybe 4 cartridges I think. As to the reliability of the action, it is very dependable in small and medium calibers, in big bores I dunno...

You cannt convert a Sauer 202 to .458 Lott as simple as with conventional actions by threading a new barrel. The barrel has integral recesses for the bolt lugs.
