Hi Jay,

I heard today of a couple of additional interesting attendees to this year’s event! I do not see mention of them on your thread yet. I am not sure if you are able to elaborate publicly yet or not but I wanted to give you a nudge just in case you are able to share with everyone else.

Thanks,
Shawn

Yes, got confirmation today that writers from 2 national gun mags will be in attendance. Also the president of a large international ammo company will be attending and is making a great donation. You'll just have to wait for the photos to see who all showed up. Big Grin This is going to be fun!

With about 3 weeks to go, this is shaping up to be the best shoot yet! We have some outstanding donations from a wide range of sponsors. EVERYBODY will be going home with some great gear.

Two weeks from today! And on a happy note, I went to a Relay for Life fundraiser trap shoot today and won a weatherby pump shotgun. I will get to meet it at the toy store tomorrow.

Terry and I just arrived today. We went to their range and it is extremely nice! You have to love guys who take their shooting serious enough to have a 1400 yd. range!! This is truly a beautiful place, I thought us Texans were pretty friendly, but folks here are just great! Now for the disclaimer; I apologize, in advance, that my shooting ability will probably forevermore sully the reputation of many a fine shot from Texas, unfortunate, but true! Wish me luck, as I am surely about to get my ass handed to me on a plate! Lee.

We just got in. You Texans ought to feel right at home, it's hotter than Hell. We Montanans aren't used to this so you might have an advantage. Are you going to the concert tonight?5

We did go to the Diamond Rio/Copper Mountain Band concert and it was great! It was a touch warm, but it beats the Hell out of the 90% humidity we would have had back home. I went out to the range this morning and met Jay and he introduced me to a young man who I foolishly let fire my double 400J and he put two almost touching, offhand, at 50 yards , I never managed that good off the bench, and I seriously thought about packing my stuff and going home!!!
These boys are serious up here and I may just have to fake an injury and let Mama do my shooting! Looking forward to the event and meeting more great folks including Bitterroot. Lee.

It was a great day. Jay put on a well organized shoot and the targets and scenarios were a lot of fun. The sponsor donations were awesome and everybody went home with some REALLY cool and unique items.

I'll definitely be back next year.

Jay,

Another great shoot was enjoyed by all. Great fun, targets and prizes. Misting tent to help with the heat was "cool" (pun intended)
Wife and I didn't shoot real well but sure had a great time seeing old friends at the shoot.
Thanks to the sponsors, donors and volunteers
on your crew. Hope to be back next year.
