CrazyhorseconsultingI have had 3, .375 caliber rifles over the years.
First one was a Ruger No. 1, did not like it so got rid of it.
My next two, both of which I still own, are my favorite of all my rifles, an InterArms Mark X in .375 H&H, and cheating somewhat, my second although it likes .377 diameter bullets best, is a Model 94 Winchester Chief Crazy Horse Commerative in 38-55

jjsA 375 H&H just kinda feels right. I have used it on everything from Bobcat to Cape Buffalo with good results. I currently have three H&H's, a winchester, Browning FN LE, and a Hoffman Mauser.
The winchester is a future project gun, the Hoffman is a classic, and the Browning is my go to 375 for now.
I have consider what choices are in the future and it is hard to imagine without at least one 375 H&H...............

Kelly GillI'm extremely fond of the .375 H&H and own several Winchester 70 Africans, a Remington 700 with composite stock and glass for bad weather in the Northwest, a Bruno and one .375 Ruger. The H&H is one of the singular best shooting and killing rounds ever developed for hogs to plains game to the big bears and more.

Do you mine posting bullets and loads you have tried in 376 Steyr? I have only loaded some 250 Sierra and some 270 grain Swift A-Frames & Barnes Xs using Varget. Hornady 270 grain factory loads average 2695FPS and are a just a little hot as I saw some light ejector marks on the case head.

True. I had to answer only with my favorite, .375 Weatherby.
Here is my current .375 Battery, 11 of them in 7 chamberings:
1 ... .375 Taylor (FN Mauser)
1 ... .375 H&H (6.75-pound Pre-64 M70 custom, in 1-pound stock)
2 ... .375 Rugers (The African is a fat 7.75 pounds in walnut, the Alaskan in a boat-paddle stock is about 7.25 pounds)
3 ... .375 Weatherbys (M70, MkX, CZ550)
2 ... .375 RUMs (M700 and CZ550)
1 ... .375/.338 Lapua Magnum (CZ550)
1 ... .378 Weatherby (CZ550)
All I need for an even dozen is the Sheikh Saeed reamer specs and reloading dies for the .375/404 Jeffery SS, but Sheikh Saeed won't spill the beans.

My two 38-55s use .377-caliber cast boolits.

Michael RobinsonFor me, personally, there's only one .375, and that's Holland & Holland's.
If a man says his rifle is a three seven five, you can be sure that it's a Holland & Holland, without him having to say any more about it.
