Overkill !I have also been wondering about the very same question !I think i saw Saeed was getting 2400 fps, but i think this cartridge can do 2450-2500 fps as an absolute maximum !thats a loot of push !I don't know if he used woodleigh sp. You have to pay a lot for the heym bolt in .600 NE !I believe i saw something about the .700 Juggernaut on the net, sorry, ican't remember the adress, but i have the info that you like to hear; it's a wildcat on the 50 BMG case i think, the full case !!it will be able to push the 1200 grainers to 2400 fps.(with the full scale of this behemoth case, i think 2400 is a whimp, it will probable dish out much more.Period. Another thing is to get the damn thing, and have it approved from the autority. What a waste of time, money, effort,,much pain !My advice would be to contact JDJ gun company, that makes .700 on a shortened .50 BMG CASE, If you absolute have to know more.Maybe A-square make the bullets, at least they did when they was still active(They made 1200 for the .700 NE)Or a company called DKT, i'm not sure.Better stick to the guns you can handle, like the 30-06 or .338,.340 Wby,,for elk hunting.I think the .340 will nail you big time with those 250 noslers at 3000 fps !
So you think that it is possible to get the 600 NE up to 2500 f/s. That would have much energy.
The guns i can handle, i have a 460 weatherby and i shoot it with 500 grain bullets at 2600 f/s with no problem at all. My weight is 140 kg you know....!
Guys what was the adress to Heym home page...???
