Allen, In more than 35 years I acquired quite some custom rifles. My most accurate .375 H&H, is a Karl Guenther on a pre 64 Winchester 1953 action, shoots all day long clovers at 100 Yards and beyond it is superb, shines in beauty and functionality. Last week John Bolliger, invited me to shoot his rifles, I will be in Pocatello in September. Besides David Miller, I already tried the other ones. Thank you for your information Allen, and other members of this board. Roland

Roland: I own four Duane Wiebe built rifles, a 7x64 on a Mauser, a .35 Whelen on a Browning 1895 lever action, a .375 H&H on a Model 70, and .458 Lott on a P17 Enfield. I have also handled and shot several other Wiebe rifles and shotguns ranging from 6-mm Remington up to .500 Jefferey. My Wiebe guns are my go-to rifles. Duane is a master metal-smith and stockmaker, as well as one heck of a nice man to work with. I have handled several of Steve Heilman's rifles, as well as several rifles by some of the other makers you mentioned. They all do good work, go with the one that feels right to you. Dave
