Go to Schwarzenegger Signs Tougher Gun Law and view the news release. Knew this was going to happen. This is just one of the reasons why Arnold Schwarzenegger should have never been elected. The Terminator support of abortion rights, gun control and gay rights makes one wonder how he can call himself a Republican? He was seen, on TV, with his wife and Sarah Brady going from door to door drumming up support for the Brady Bill just before the final vote was due. He is so liberal he should spell Republican = D E M O C R A T. Lawdog

For Immediate Release: September 14, 2004 Schwarzenegger proves to be a Girlie Man on guns! (Sacramento) While the U.S. Congress moves to restore the rights of law-abiding citizens by allowing the Clinton/Feinstein Gun Ban to sunset, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger stomps on California citizen's rights by banning .50 BMG single shot bolt action rifles. These are firearms that have never been used in the commission of a crime in the state in over 81 years of existence. This is the first time in California history that a single shot bolt action rifle of any kind is banned in the State. Schwarzenegger makes history again by being the first California Governor to ban a firearm that has never been used in a crime. Even former Governor Gray Davis doesn't have that distinction. The Governor crushed the rights of law-abiding gun owners by signing the .50 BMG ban (AB 50 Koretz-D) while at the same time he considers whether to protect his Hollywood cronies by signing SB 231. Sources say SB 231 was required by Federal firearms officials or Hollywood would have had to shut down any television and movie production having to do with a firearm. Firearms used in television and movie productions are real firearms even when modified to shoot blanks. Production companies just handed the firearms over to the actors in violation of numerous state and federal laws regarding lending and transferring without background checks even though some of the actors are ineligible to touch a firearm because of prior criminal convictions. SB 231 would create a system that will allow the studios to comply with the law but does nothing about years of previous felony violations. On screen, the Governor may portray a tough action hero but off screen he has proven to be a Girlie Man with regards to the United States Constitution and the Second Amendment in particular. Welcome to occupied Kalifornia Gun Owners of California

Arnold is just another Hollywood freak that made his mega-bucks with gratuitous violence, only to begin believing it all relates to real life somehow. He is a delusional hypocrite.

U.S. Constitution: Article II, Section 1. "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States." Wise words from our country's founders. IMHO, Schwarzenpecker is a good example of why this requirement should remain. You'd be surprised at how many people want to change it. Some examples: Schwarzenegger: Let foreign-born seek White House Sunday, February 22, 2004 "Natural-Born" Killer Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2003 Natural Born Killjoy By Akhil Reed Amar Akhil Reed Amar teaches law and political science at Yale. This article is adapted by permission from his book America's Constitution: A Guided Tour, forthcoming from Random House. Yep, let's let Vladimir Putin become a citizen and then run for President. Yeah, that's a good idea. He has such a firm grasp of the concepts of democracy. It's a shame Robert Mugabe is so old. He might want to run for president too! -Bob F.

Quote: After watching Arnold give his speech at the RNC, I was impressed. He lost that credibility and all my respect when he signed the 50 BMG ban. To say "it will reduce crime" is ludicrous. I have yet to see anyone lug a 30lb 50 BMG into a 7/11 to rob it. Anyway, thank God that you have to be a natural born citizen to run for President. Arnold is automatically disqualified Jeff < !--color-->

Kevin. I'm going to have some "Real Girlie Man T-shirts, with a picture of Arnold in a mini skirt, made up. Think it would do any good to send Arnold Terminator Schwarzenegger one? I too would rather fight than switch. Besides the RNC is going to run the "Terminator" for President in 2008. Lawdog

I wouldn't be surprised if the ban resulted in there being more .50 cal in CA, than if the ban hadn't become law. Right now a lot of residents are buying .50 cals who wouldn't have if the ban hadn't been signed. From Serbu: www.serbu.com "News Flash: In the first day after AB-50's passage, we sold more guns to California residents than we normally sell in a month around the entire US!!" They are also offering a deal to those residents who wants a .50cal before its too late.

Quote:He didn't impress me with that, because his facts were so fictionalized. Everybody should know that there was no Communist, Socialist or whatever sort of system as he described in place in Austria then, and the Russians most certainly were not in control.
