Hi Pegleg

Actually it was just over a centimeter but I dont think the additional 1mm would have stopped the bullet. Smiler

You must be right Hikerbum and Pegleg I forgot that an American Inch is twice as thick as British Inch. pissers
Also the holes had nothing to do with 5600ft/llbs of relatively slow moving solid projectile hitting the metal.

No way those drums hold 25 liters.

That doesn't look like 25 yards either.

Just kidding. Big Grin

Thanks for posting.

Some folks apparently need to learn how to relax and enjoy the show. Roll Eyes

I've also shot metal with the Hornady bullets before, really messes it up. Big Grin Be careful though, shot a piece once at 50 yards and had the jacket shoot back at me.

Hi KennethI

Yep its kind of scary shooting at metal sheeting. We hid behind sandbags and cleared the ranges either side before we fired to avoid ricochet and hot secondary projectiles.
