In my search for a double I have found a .470NE that looks interesting to me. Yesterday it was shooting a nice 2-inch group at 60 yards. The group, however, was about 2 inches low and 2 inches to the right. How easy is it to adjust the iron sites to get the group closer to zero?

I probably depends on the sights and if they are adjustable. The rear might be drift adjustable in which case you move the rear sight the direction that you want the groups to go. Be sure to use a soft brass punch or sight pusher if it doesn't have a screw to tighten it. I put NECG sights on my 470 project and the front is adjustable for height. Post pics of the sights and maybe that will help?

I don't have a picture of the actual sights on the gun at the moment. I had the dealer that has the gun shoot it for me and then had him fax to me the target. The gun appears to shoot well, just needs a bit of an adjustment with the sights. I'm going to have the gun sent to me so I can try it out for a few days. If I can get the gun to fire like I want it to, I'm sure I'll keep it. Since most of my guns have scopes, adjusting the old fashioned way is something I need ot learn more about!

Here's what I know about the sights on the gun: "Bohler Steel" barrels with rib and 50yd. fixed/100yd. flip-up rear sight and ramp front sight.
