Guys,
I will try to have some pics up on our website this afternoon of the castings vs the Long actions. I should have some more news to you by late next week as to a closer delivery date. We are still finishing up the Machining tooling to make sure these are perfect. All other parts are either here, on the way or being finsihed up now. I know it has been a Looooooong time coming but we are almost there. I hope you can all be a little more patient, it will pay off in the end.
Thanks All,
Jeff

I don't know about the PH actions but I can tell you that this rifle has a Montana Action and it was great in Africa a couple of weeks ago.

+1.

Yes, let's hear about that rifle. Who built it? Is that a Kahles 2-7 scope? That rifle is freakin' gorgeous.

Phoenix, Good Gosh! Where did you get that wood!!!! Wow!

As an update guys on the PH we had said mid to late June we would have parts in house to build them up and we are almost 95 % there, all parts are either finishing up or here already. The only issue we have had was on the reciever casting original pour they came out too long, the tooling was re-worked and the pour is done. I will try to keep you updated over the next week.

Not to hi-jack a thread, Phoenixdaug, +2. I expecially want to know about your stock, where you found that wood and who your stockmaker was.

Thanks in advance.

Charles thanks for linking the old post.

Just as an aside, the rifle shoots as good as she looks. This was from my first range session at 100 yards.

To answer the other questions the scope question the scope on the rifle in the Pic is a Kahles Helia C 4x32.

It has been replaced with a Kahles Helia C 1.1x4x24.

I fired the rifle 6 times in Africa and harvested 5 animals, got excited on one shot and had a clean miss.

Haven't received mine yet but I'm waiting patiently. I've talked to Jeff recently and I'm confident in the very near future delivery of the "PH". This one will become a 600 OK. Rodney.
