I just bought a NIB BRNO 602ZKK chambered in .458 Winchester Magnum. What do y'all think needs to be done with this rifle? .458 Lott? .458 Watts? What needs to be done to ensure reliable feeding? Stock? What stock? Wood please. Bedding? Recoil pad? Sights? Scope? Quick release mounts? Trigger? Other suggestions? Thanks, guys. Hope to take it to Africa in a few years.

Rechambering is a snap for a good gunsmith. The mag box will have to be opened up a little and the rails/feedramp modified for reliable feeding. The big problem is that you absolutely must install a second barrel recoil lug ( it must be properly designed and installed) or kiss your current stock goodbye after 10 shots or so. Do not scrimp on this or allow anyone to convince you it isn't necessary! The Lott/Watt/450 Ackley ( my favorite) are all great cartridges with a proven track record in Africa. You will never go wrong with one.-Rob
