I am under the impression that CZ will be offering an �American� version of the 550 Safari Magnum. Does anyone have any information about when/if this will be introduced. I have been wanting to buy a 550 in .416 Rigby and would like the American, but I�m losing patience.

Supposedly mid-January. They actually have the barreled actions and are waiting for the stocks for the Lotts. Not sure about the .416's.

I'm looking forward to these, as well. I'd like one in .375 H&H and .458 Lott. The actions and finishing are no different - only the stocks. I was hoping in the exhibition grade stock, you would also be getting a higher grade of polishing, trigger, etc., but you don't. Still looking forward to them, though.
