I am getting the goodies together to work up loads for my .375 FL Mag double and load data is scarce. I have data from Barnes, but not a lot else.

What is a reasonable velocity for a 250gr bullet in this cartridge? I'd like a ballpark for what I should target and where I should be thinking the top end is.

One strategy I thought of was to use pressure tested belted magnum data for the lightest charge used in the manual and pick ones at or under the max for the flanged version. I figure that should be safe given the larger volume in the flanged case.

Don't worry about regulation, this is an O/U rifle with adjustable regulation.
