When loaded to equal pressures, which round is more powerful? I have a .450 Ackley in a CZ550 and a friend has a .450 Watts in an older M70. I do not reload so I purchased ammo from A-Square. The .450 Watts ammo is reloaded. On our recent outing with these rifles, it seems that the .450 Watts "roared" heavier and louder than the .450 Ackley. The Ackley has a 465 grain bullet, while the .450 Watts is loaded with a 500 grain bullet. Both rounds equally crushed cinder blocks at 40 steps. Thanks.

If by 'power' you mean ft.-lbs., then we'd need the velocity of the bullets to figure that out. George
