I haver the 1.75 x6 in Talleys on my 375 Mod 70. I can;t think of a better set up. The factpry sights are so-so but I think the scope is perfect. I think we get so used to the sight picture and desire of hittng a small one inch orange dot on the range, that we overlook the real life aspect and necessity of greater magnification. Get some poster archery targets of life sized animals and shoot at this 100 and 200 yards. You'll do quite well even at the very low end of magnification.
