I've been watching this thread for some time and have noticed the comments re: front lens popping out due to loacation of the front ring.

As most mount rings tighten on either the hotizontal or vertical plane I can understand this.

However, has anyone ever had this problem using Conetrol projectionless rings and mounts? I use these mounts almost excusively on all my rifles and would imagine that the tightening system these mounts (and rings) employ would/should not put the kind of pressure in the areas of the tube that would tend to cause this problem.

Any comments about this with Conetrols?
