Has anyone clocked the gamut of factory 300 grain ammo available to see what they get? I know many factors affect the fps but shooting them all from the same rifle would at least give a relative comparison of claimed velocities.

I get 2580 fps out of the Rem Safari Grade ammo shooting 300g Swift A-Frames from my CZ 550 (25" barrel).

Thanks, that's what I use as well but in the 24" M70. Unfortunately I know no one with a chrono nor desire to have my own, so thanks for your input!

I have checked several and they are all very close to what the Mfg claims.

2530 from Rem 300 grain A Frames from a 24" bbl, as advertised. Great accuracy, too.

Nice thing about the 375 is that it has been around long enough that the sales hype has died off and the factorys have settled down and loaded them where they oughta be..Same with the 06 and 270, I suppose in time they all come around./
