Finally got toshoot my 505. It's only been three years since I started this project. My impression is it kicks a lot less than a 458. But I havent shot a shot 458 in years. Happy Trails

Moose,
I think your still punchy from shooting the 505, it has considerably more recoil that a 458 anything to my mind..but everyone has their own recoil tolerance.
