What rings are each if you useing. Midway caralog doesn't show any difference on Talley for RH or LH and Gary at Talley says it will be at least 2 mos. for LH, but he'll exchange then for me then. Meanwhile???

I am using modified Talley rings. The lug for the rear base was cut and moved to the opposite side. I believe the Warnes work better as the lug is centered. Modified Talley

I spoke to Gary at Talley last week and he has 30 mm left-hand rings now. We use the Warne's also, they can go either side and are good rings.

Yes, Gary told me last week he had the 30mm in stock and would trade me, but my S&B 30mm does have enough tube space to fit the rifle. Thanks,

What about a piccatinny rail? Would that give you more options with left hand B/A and S&B scope tube mounting issues? http://www.murphyprecision.com/ does a really good job with great service. Regards, Bob.

CZ offers this product as well, and it does work. Dont know about left handed though? This (weaver base) allowed me to take full advantage of 5 inch eye relief scope and get around the problem of having long enough scope tube running the full length of the action. Flexibility is an understatement. With this system any scope or dot scope can can be used. With each optic toy having its own QD rings. Some of the shotgun dot scopes like Bushnell include weaver rings. The down side is the scope ends up higher. I milled off part of the rear of the weaver base to allow lowest possible scope height. I guess that is still a good 1/2 inch higher. Its adds more weight too. But then anyone mounting a 30mm scope on a CZ 550 in 375H&H obviously is not weight conscious. I did this on a 505Gibbs and welcome the added weight. No fear of a cut eye brow. That confidence helps shooting a gun that size. I prefer to call it a weaver base than a pit canary rail (mil spec kick me in the arse base) as the price is usually 10x difference.
