For all of the Bubba's out there, drool over this:

http://www.gunsamerica.com/976885725/Non-Guns/Cannons-A...ISH_6_PDR_CANNON.htm

ORIGINAL BRITISH 6 PDR NAVAL CANNON.in very good condition.90 mm caliber. Approx weight: 450 lbs . Over the chamber it reads : 4 2 5 . The cannon was used by the British forces during the "British Invasions of the Rio de La Plata" in Buenos Aires,Argentina in 1806.This forces were defeated 46 days after by Santiago de Liniers what represented the begining of the independence movements. These cannons were captured by the "criollas" forces and adapted to field battles making a field carriage with what they had "at hand".That´s why the carriage is not original but it is completely forged with a great history. In fact , we can make an EXACT replica of the British naval cannon (that´s our work), but we think that this carriage is very important for the history. If the buyer wants an exact replica with real antique look,he would have to add $1200 to the price. ¡¡ Buy History !! Just one available!!

Paul, while bigger is better, most of the time. I will stick with the one I built. I would never try to shoot that one on what they call a carriage. I think it would FLIP over. Also, the bore needs reaming out, as it looks to be obstructed.

Here is my 1 1/2" smooth bore.

Yeah, but at least now it is air conditioned.

Heat, noise is not to bad, but it does recoil 4-5 FEET.(on level ground)
