I was looking at a currant copy of Rifle Shooter and saw an article where some woman shot a nice buff with a Ruger #1 in 450/400. Are these rifles available now?

Early 2007 seems to be the "release" date...at least that's what a distributor in my area told me. Yes....I'm drooling, too....if they would just quit coming out with all this neat stuff, I wouldn't have to buy it!

Well, I did it the easy way and had Ralf Martini run a 450/400 reamer into a .405, .......instant classic caliber!
Everyone that's shot it was amazed at the low recoil and the accuracy!

I watched the newest edition of Tracks Across Africa Wednesday morning and Craig was hunting with Steve Hornady and he was using the new 375 Ruger and also had a No.1 in 450-400. Shot a nice bull with the 375.
