Yes a necked up 375 ultra magnum wildcat there is also the 458 ultra cat

Ackley Improved UserER, do you know who has this .416 necked up 375 RUM wildcat? Is there a reamer around? This is a logical wildcat given the various RUMs around. One could simply change-out barrels, depending upon your intended use. It would allow use of the 400 gr. plus bullets. I'm surprised it hasn't gained more traction. Regards, AIU

Looking at the ultra cat load data, I would go with the rigby. You could equal it with moder brass and have a rifle that is easier to sell if you tire of it. I have a 415-505 gibbs reamer. I am putting together a 1000k+ rifle, a Montana ph action, 28 inch barrel I am thinking 2800 fps with 400 grs and 2550 with 350.

They meant performance,not case basis
And NO, the rum is NOT based off the 404. You can NOT make SPEC rum cases from a 404. .545 vs .550. Is it close? Sure. But it is technically a different brass. You CAN resize and draw down rum case to make 404. Just like you CAN make 9,3x64 from 300 hh. Turn the belt off. But you can not make hh from brenneke.
