Somebody just doesn't get that a series of compromises should lead to a class of rifle. 1: this is a pushfeed 2: this has a "scout" rifle mount and scope (cheap one at that, for the caliber) 3: okay, since it's a "scout" the overall length should be AROUND a meter... which generally results in a ~20" barrel.. it's TWENTY SIX inches 4: it's a DG caliber.. 470 capstick... in a "sniper/scout" configuration. 5: plasic stock... probably a good thing, for toughness, but LIGHT!!! Okay, I get getting the scope WAY the hell away from your face/head/eyes on a 470... especially looking at this one... i doubt it's 8.5 or 9 LB unless it has a lead skeletion http://www.gunbroker.com/auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=24805284 jeffe

OK I can see the rifle now. Yuk! I can't see from the pictures but is there a front sight or just a rear sight that is useless with the scope base there? Sean

What a fowl looking set up....I wonder if the weaver rings would cope with the recoil ??

It looks like a project gun made up of stuff someone had laying around. Old PF action, Weaver base, etc. I think I see a front sight, but that (aluminum?) Weaver-style base had better have six 8-40 screws in it if they expect it to stay on under recoil. Perhaps they fired it, and no longer want to do so again. My .470 Capstick weighs 10.75lbs. and it has all the recoil I'd ever want to experience; if this gun is as light as it looks, oh mama! George

That rifle brings a new meaning to "Ugly"... No wonder they want to get rid of it. Erik D.
