Anybody been able to buy any or use them?

I haven't found any and Barnes isn't answering email about the availability. Maybe they don't exist, but they are on their web site. Item 37552

Most interesting. That would be a good weight for big game here in the US

I haven't tried to order any, yet, so I cannot say. I did, however, e-mail them as to future pland for a 250 gr. TSX in .375 and they replied quite promptly. They replied "no". Frowner But it was prompt.

Can you give me a web site. When I Google it in I get a chain in South Africa.

I have seen them at the Dallas show so i know they are around.

Thanks. First one is back order only, second one didn't show BO, so I assume it will be on the way.

Thanks again

Have not used the TSX, but HAVE used both the .375 Barnes Xs in 210 and 235 grain. Never recovered either bullet on side shots. Dumped elk like nothing else I've ever used.

They finally answered today. I've got two boxes coming, but not reloading info for them.

Does anyone have any loads they have used with them that they would care to share, with the usual disclaimers and etc., etc.

Thanks,

Hodgdon's website has load information for 235 grain softpoints that ought to be a good starting point. Here's what they recommend:

375 H & H MAGNUM
CASE: WINCHESTER
BBL: 24"
PR: FEDERAL 215 M
COL: 3.600"

235 GR. SPR SP

Powder.....Charge......Velocity....Pressure
H414........83.0.........2749......42,600 CUP
H380........81.0.........2835......46,800 CUP
VARGET......70.0.........2819......51,200 CUP
BL-C(2).....85.0.........2964......47,100 CUP
H335........74.0.........2853......50,000 CUP
H4895.......74.0.........2895......50,400 CUP

2964 fps! That almost makes the 375 a varmint gun.

I wonder what the pressure relationship between the Barnes TSX and say a S
peer 235 grain. Anyone want to hazard a guess based on their experience with other calibeers of TSX

Midway usually has them but they are currently out . They expect to be back in stock by the third week in August , you can backorder them now so that you get some on there first delivery.

I went out to the local range this morning and shot
ten out of my WinS/S classic, they grouped real
good . Wasn't able to chronograph as the wind
was a bit testy . I used 73gr. REL 15 and no pressure signs whatever . Seemed to clean easy,
no more copper then the bonded bullets ,
I was real impressed with the accuracy !

I loaded some for my .375 RUM, but they didn't group well. I was forced to use the last cannelure for crimping and had little depth to play with. The heavier ones shot great and took them to Africa.
