AnotherAZWriterDovetail Mounts on a Sako 75 - Any issues?
Anyone ever experience issues with keeping their scope mounted without slipping on a Sako 75 with integral dovetail mounts?
Talley makes bases for Sakos that are extremely sturdy. I have them on all my Sakos and have never had a problem.
I have used sako and Leupold rings on two 75s and several other older Sakos, never had any issues. However, my biggest cartridge has been the 257 WBY.

lawndartI have never had a lick of trouble with my Sako mounts on my 416 Remington magnum. No trouble after 26 years of frequent use.

Dead EyeI have leupold ringmounts on a sako fiberclass in 375 h&h. It's just over 7 lbs and kicks like a mule.
Never had a problem with these mounts on this gun. Ringmounts allow you to mount the scope lower compared to most other mounts.

faisalWell designed mounts that hold up under recoil.
With the added feature of rough windage adjustment built into the front dove tail.
