Well I'm not!! She forced me to buy a Francotte Bolt Action in 10.75x68. It's a beautiful rifle, when I shoulder it, it seems like it was built for me. Hope to have pictures shortly.

I was talking with one of the vendors at Reno. I remarked that there were many attendees with trophy wives. The vendor said no, those are not their wives, they are their neices!

The first year, we took them along and they made it for one entire day-then they went shopping in town for the next three! Bought so much X-Mas sale stuff that it filled the bed of the pickup, and barely had room for our bags.

The next year they decided that the show was boring after seeing it the year before, and only made it thru 4 hours. Then they went and got 8 hours of spa treatments in the Casino. Add in the fancier dinners and it gets too expensive.

Now we just sent them on vacation to Hawaii or a cruise together, and its cheaper. I buy her a case of wine, and maybe some Amarula. We get to take our time, visit with friends, and book what we want with no adult supervision. Smiler I did spend an awful lot of time fondling double guns tho, so next year might be dangerous!
