A week or so ago I asked for opinions in purchasing a 375 for my old bosses retirement. Went with him yesterday and looked at three. Asking his opinion as I looked for me. Anyway he tried the Ruger and the CZ(standard) and for him both were way to large to be comfortable. He then looked at the M70 and it fit him very well. His comment was even if the Ruger was the same price he would go with the M70.

So since he is my FFL I had him order one for "me". LOL Paid a few $$ more the supplier to pick better wood. We will see. We will just use our extra budget for a scope to go along with it.

Is it the classic express? or the ss version.

The classicd express is really a nice gun, IMHO. I have three 375,416,458 all three have nice wood, and are tackdrivers. the 375 is a .75" gun and the 458 shoots in the .5's and the 416 shoots slightly less than 1' with any bullet I put in it. congratulation good choice. JJ

That is the Safari Classic.

I love the M70 classic. Got to hold one last week and it is on my list.
