Hornady 220 gr fp in the 375 h&h
I bought some of these bullets because you get 100 for the same price as others that give you 50.

Has anyone used these? I know they are not suitable for big game unless I keep velocity level down, but I'm trying for around 2800-2900+ fps for target practice and varmit.
Do you thinks these bullets explode ground hogs or work well on coyote on down, at these velocities?
Anyone have any accurate loads with this bullet and RL15

using AA5525 if I recall loaded to 2000fps (31 grains) for practice and whitetail.

You can see the Hornady site for details I believe

I have shot deer with them loaded with 60 and 64 gr of IMR 3031 with excellent results.

Also 40gr of SR 4759 shoots real good, for @2250fps, which nis 375 Winchester Lever Action ballistics.

I have not shot anything with this load yet.

I used to load 235gr Horndays in my 375 for Black bear in BC. It worked well....2,950 fps.
