A new round (500 S&W without a rim) available in the AR-10 format. Could you imagine the look on your PHs' face if you showed up with one of these for a Buffalo hunt? Makes all the caliber restrictions looks foolish.

The flanged version in an inexpensive double rifle could make for an affordable .500 caliber stopping rifle. Would benefit from being shooter adjustable to simplify regulation.

This reminds me of Roy Vincent modifying a Browning BAR to a heavy caliber. IIRC, he converted a BAR to .416 Taylor or some other standard length cartridge. Saeed would remember the details better, I’m sure. I don’t think it worked out very well in the end and he didn’t use it very much, if at all.
