A friend has some cases that won't allow his Kreigoff to close.

What kind of cases are they. What do they measure. It is rim thickness or diameter that does not fit?
Graeme Wrights book shows the rim thickness as 0.060.
I had a similar problem when I got some Bertram brass for my 450.400 3 1/4". The proper way is to remove some of the rim from the front [toward the neck of the case] of the rim. However i used a file and a knife sharpening stone and removes some metal from the fear of the case. It did not take much.

What

these cases apparently measure .05 They were a part of the last batch out of Mast. They are head stamped 375 Rigby. Probably leftovers from an order for the folks at Paso Robles.

I can always take them to the shop in Odessa and turn 'em on a lathe.

Maybe the diameter is to big.
Have him take the bbls off the rifle and see if the cases will go into the chamber/rim recess at the back of the bbls.
If the diameter is to big maybe he can spin the case in a drill [using a homemade attachment] and file or stone down the rim.
