the weight is 3,9kg and in pounds i belive that is 8 5/8lbs.i have got one,and the recoil is hard,so i think that 7 3/4 pounds would have been a real shoulder-killer.. Smiler

If you want a NIB, you better get it quick. Sako does not offer 375 and 416 in their new Hunter 85 and they are no longer making the Hunter 75. The Hunter 85 will not be available until early 2007.

So the only NIB Sakos available are what is in the distribution channels of Hunter 75.

I just bought a Syn/SS 375 Sako and have asked numerous times via phone and email if they will make a 375 and/or 416 in the Hunter 85. They say it is not in the 2007 catalog, although they could possibly (if they decide too) start manufacturing 375/416 starting mid-2007. That is a year off minimal for them to start production (if they decide too) and longer before they show up in the distribution channels.

Does this model have a floor plate or magazine?

Well, Sako has models with both.

The only Sako model with a magazine is the Syn/SS. All others are floor plates.
