To date for my 1909 .404 I have dropped;

$1500Aus for action (inc. english bolt, bottom metal, feeding etc.)
$450Aus for Lothar barrel
$300Aus for custom Talley bases
$525Aus for 3 pos recknagel saftey and Black burn trigger.

Stock and 1/4 rib+ sites to go.....the .404 path is expensive but I will have a great rifle at the end.

I have right around $2100 in mine including the used M70. I used the factory stock & had it reworked a bit; steel cross bolts, shortened for the bbl. band swivel, dec. pad. The custom shop wants quite a bit & w/o a 1/4 rib.
