| S&L: I assume that is an Enfield-built Martini Henry Mark II or so? If it is in good shape, in original military configuration and the bore is in decent condition, it is a desirable collector's rifle. There seems to be quite a bit of interest in the military rifles of the late Victorian period. Also, you can obtain dies and brass, expensive, but can load and shoot the rifle in the original .577-450 chambering. They are a lot of fun. I just sold a BSA Mark II .577-450, fair bore, with dies and brass for $650. Think I could have gotten more. |

| You might want to visit http://www.britishguns.net and post a note in the Martini-Henry forum. Very knowledgeable folks there about the various M-H models and lots of enthusiastic collectors. |
