470M I need some help locating
gunsmith or some body that has a 360 Imperial reamer in Canada.
Want to build a .360 Rifle with that 1999 action.
Do you know of any body???

Yukon257 seems to remember a smith by the name of Nobby Uno (sp?) and he is sure he lives in Courtenay BC.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks Martin

Hi Martin,
I know Nobby from by gone days but have lost track of him. He used to be the gunsmith at Hunters Sporting Goods when they were on Kingsway. I saw him up at the Kamloops gun show last year also. I think you would do just as well getting hold of Bill Leeper in Elko. If he didn't have the reamer he could probably get hold of it for you and do an excellent job for you. He has my new 470 at this moment doing the polishing and bluing. He fixed my PME three position safety on my 602 action and did a really nice job of recrowning the barrel after a Vancouver gunsmith did a crap job of them both. You can phone him at 250 529-7720 or e-mail him at bsleeper@look.ca I have 100% confidence in his work.
Hope this helps,
470 Mbogo

Ya'll do know the imperial line is the same thing as the RUM, right? Just neck it to 366 or buy a 375 rum...

470,thanks fr the repl.
Yes I left a question on the gunsmithing form for Bill Leeper.
He is going to look for Nobby at the gunshow and let me know his phone # he did not say he had the reamer himself.
Bill thought Nobby did work for North American Shooting systems in Osoyoos BC.
I did a search for them on the net but to no avail.
If it don't pan out I'll ask Bill.

Thanks Martin

Jeffe:That's the idea but I have to find the reamer.
I have one shell in my colection (360 Imp) and I don't want to pull the bullet but I am fairly sure it's a .358.
It' either this or a 404 Jeff and a 358 would be more practical.
