375 rum case design
Is a 375 rum a necked up 300 rum or a necked up 338 rum?
What is a 458/300 rum called? This should give more fps than a 458 lott but does it?

It's a necked up 300 RUM. A 458-300 is a wildcat so you can name it. But, cut the case to 2.65 and you have the 458 AR.

The 458/300 Ultra is also known as the 458 Ultra Cat from z-hat.com I think. I emailed them to get ballistics but the file they sent me was corrupt and wouldn't open...never bothered to try and get it resent.

Neat concept but I am sure the recoil is up there with the Dakota and Weatherby rounds.

So a 458/300 rum is a 458 ultracat.Could cases be formed from 375 rum easily?
Could a m70 win in 375 h&h be easily rebarreled to a 458 ultracat? What would need to be done to the rifle?

jhl,
Fred can make you one up, pretty quickly... The 375HH is the right length, and his cart's are awesome.

if you just had a 7 mag, I would suggest one of the A.R. rounds.. click on my website to see
