I haven't had the 375 H&H out since my hunt in South Africa last September so when I was out today shooting the small bores I shot a couple of three shot groups off the bench at 100 yards. It still works:

Very nice groups. Sweet.

Assuming that you aimed at 2" circles directly below, I would recommend clicking the scope down about ten clicks and back up two. (4 clicks to an inch.) Then hit the ground with the rifle butt, firmly but gently, enough to make sure that the internal scope fixtures have reseated.

At 2" high at a hundred, you will be around -7 to -9" down at 300 with typical loads. That will be good for any African hunting.

That's just my favorite gun to shoot. That load is my "American Load", 260 grain Partition pushed at just over 2700 fps. It always hits 4" higher than my 300 grain TSX load.

When I use that load I just adjust the scope 8 clicks down and it puts it 2" high at 100 yards, dead on at 200 and 3" low at 300 yards.

You mean -2 MOA at 100 yards and 3 MOA at 300 yards? Putting that bullet and velocity at 200 yard zero in a ballistic calculater I get -9.6" low at 300 yards.
