I am a cartridge collector and display the collection at gun shows. I has been a great hobby and the people just love to see all those cartridges. The ladies are a big surprize some times -- they light up great big and ask lots of questions. Any way --I have a headstamped "400 Whelen" straight wall brass and would like to have it run through a "propper" 400 Whelen die so I can dummy load it and put it in the collection with the 35 and 375. Michael has written a lot about the .400 Whelen, and has plenty of experience with them. He also posts on this forum.

I have posted a picture of the collection in the cartridge collecting forum under the heading MOUNTING. It will be later this year before I rebuild it and add the 400. I am going to have to go to 2 boards now as the collection has gotten to big for one.
