I'm curious about the 9.3x62. I have some questions about it: - Are there factory loadings for it? - What are the bullet weight and muzzle velocity of the round? - Where does it fall among other cartidges? - Is it a belted case? - Why do I see it typed as 9,3x62 a lot of times, instead of 9.3x62? Thank you for any info, Scott

yes, there are factory loads made by Lapua, Sellier and Bellot, and Norma. perhaps others. the bullet weights are 231 and 286 grains. i never chronographed the rounds but the manufacturers have this information on their internet pages. it seems to me that the 231 grain is around 2600 and the 286 is around 2400. you can check this on the internet sites for Norma and Lapua. the cartridge is in the same class as the 35 Whelen. a lot of people equate it to a mild 375 H&H. the case is not belted. it is made on the 30-06 case. the comma in the designation "9,3" is a European way of expressing "9.3"
