Has anyone converted a Blaser 93 from 416 Rem. Mag to 416 Rigby ? Would it be feasible ? Is there enough metal in the receiver to accept the reamer ? Thanks in advance........JJ

I believe the mag box and bolt throw of the Blaser to be too short for the 416 Rigby. Plus, you would have to build a new one of those plastic magazine thingies, and getting it to function reliably would be no small feat.

500grains is correct. What is wrong with the 416 Remington Mag? I have shot a 416 Blaser, if I did not use doubles for all my 40+ shooting I would have a 416 bbl for my R 93 for sure.

NE 450 No2, Not a thing wrong with the 416 Rem Mag. I am just set up to reload for the Rigby and I like its lower pressure, plus I do like my Blasers................................JJ

Maximum cartridge lenght of Blaser R93 magazin is 3.63. .416 Rigby is 3.75. But for .458 Lott or .500 Jeffery the R93 is ok for customized conversion. The new "Blaser", named Mauser M03. all steel and rotary bolt, comes from factory also in .404 Jeffery and .458 Lott.
